The Islamic Society of Markham (ISM) Food Committee is expanding its Kitchen Services to better serve our growing community.
Our Goal
To provide nutritious meals prepared in a clean, safe, and respectful environment — fostering community spirit and celebrating our rich cultural diversity.
Our Programs
Our dedicated team organizes several initiatives that serve 200–700 community members throughout the year, including:
- Weekly Soup Kitchen
- Monthly Community Breakfast
- Annual Community BBQ
- Annual Ramadan Iftar
- Special Events & Holiday Gatherings
Join Our Team
We are currently looking for dedicated individuals for the following roles:
- Cook (experience preparing meals for 500+ people required)
- Gym Setup
- Food Servers
- Gym Cleaning
- Kitchen Cleaning
- Dishwashing
- Food Ingredients & Supplies Pickup
